DWeb Camp is over, DWeb Camp Cascadia is next!

People in a large tent sitting on pillows watching a talk at DWeb Camp in Germany

Greetings from Germany where we've just completed an amazing week of DWeb Camp at Alte Hölle near Berlin, and Local First Conference right after. We're so looking forward to bringing the energy to Cascadia in just a few weeks!

Join us for the only DWeb event in North America this year.

At Camp Cascadia you'll get to meet Internet Archive founder Brewster Kahle who will talk about his new project, OnionPress - imagine WordPress meets Tor! And we'll host a provocative conversation led by indigenous technologist Terry (and Terri) from MRF Field Tech on values alignment as a practical filter, not just a principle. We'll be eating locally-sourced food and talking about food systems!

What we learned from being here in Germany is that while there is joy in missing out sometimes, you can not substitute the incredible power of being with a group of like-minded folks for several days, doing and making things together, and dreaming of a future where life flourishes.

Plus: Yoga! Amazing DJ! Open Mic! Field trips! and so much more.

Big thanks to our presenting partner Internet Archive Canada!

Do not miss out!

This might just change your life, be the place where you meet the collaborators for your future projects, and discover that there is possibility for things to be different if we do things together.

There are volunteer and local discounts available! Come to our volunteer info session on Thursday, July 16 at 2:00pm to get the scoop. This is also a general Q&A call if you have any curiosities you want satisfied about Camp.

Ticket sales end July 27.
