Travel Directions & Options for DWeb Camp Cascadia

Ferry travel is the #1 option for getting to Salt Spring Island, either as a passenger or bike traveller, or by car.

Carpooling

We encourage folks to carpool to Cascadia Camp to reduce our environmental impact and make travel more accessible. When you register, you’ll have the option to indicate whether you can offer a ride or are looking for one. We’ll help connect participants coming from Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, Portland, and nearby areas.  Share the journey—and maybe make a few new friends along the way.

Need a ride? Offering one? Make this known in the camp Rideshare sheet, linked in your registration email (or ask for it in the #campers channel in DWeb Discord).

We expect the majority of people to come from Vancouver's Tsawwassen terminal. This route accepts vehicle reservations. It will take you to Long Harbour on Salt Spring Island.

We recommend aiming for the 10:55am Vancouver Tsawwassen ferry to arrive by 12:30pm, to be able to set up your camp before we convene.
